Best of the Internet and Coolest Stuff During SuperBowl XLVIII

During Seattle Seahawks' demolition of the Denver Broncos at SuperBowl 48, the Internet was once again wild, with social media blowing up before, during, and after the big game. Here are some of the best bits that you may have missed.


On Twitter, SuperBowl was a Worldwide trend, with celebrities, politicians, fans and many others Tweeting during Seahawks' progressively imminent victory.

Mark Cuban trolls the Internet

Mark Cuban, owner of NBA franchise Dallas Mavericks, would troll all SuperBowl watchers after the very first play.

In a disastrous first play for the Denver Broncos that resulted in a two-point safety, Mark Cuban would Tweet the news that he had in fact won $20 million, claiming to have bet on a two-point safety for the first play.

After fifteen minutes, with the news broke around Twitter and other websites, Mark Cuban summed up "You just got trolled", in one word, that being "Psych.", followed by a charitable smiley face.

Peyton Manning on the phone

After a second quarter descent from the Denver Broncos that saw them go down by twenty-two points, pictures emerged of an anxious Peyton Manning on the phone.

And knowing the bright, intelligent and comical folks on Twitter, many memes were soon Tweeted:


Looks like Peyton Manning needed help from his brother after he won in 2012, but he referred him to Colin Kaepernick, when the lights went out at the 2013 Super Bowl.


Peyton Manning has some apologizing to do after Floyd Mayweather betted $10.4 million on the Denver Broncos to win the Super Bowl.

Half-time show with Bruno Mars

Half-time at the Super Bowl traditionally marks a special show with a performer taking center stage during the interval. At SuperBowl 48, Bruno Mars rocked MetLife Stadium at half-time.

It soon became clear that Denver Broncos were going to lose the SuperBowl, triggering a barrage of memes, videos and much more to rub it in...

Sherman's injury doesn't keep him quiet

Richard Sherman was renowned for going off after the game before the SuperBowl. Even though he was injured, he left time to take a shot at the Broncos.
