WWE Monday Night RAW - 25th March 2013
CM Punk disrespects the urn by throwing it around. (WWE.com)
Diving head first into the proceedings in Philadelphia was CM Punk, accompanied by Paul Heyman who held the urn in hand. CM Punk's disrespectful behavior towards the urn continued, as he addressed the WWE Universe. The Second-City Saviour said The Undertaker was to blame for The Streak ending at WrestleMania, and followed up with a big mark of disrespect, as he dropped the urn. Shocked were the WWE Universe in Philadelphia, as CM Punk continued to say that the Streak will end. The Best in the World was pretty much certain, and even said he was anticipating for the "BONG" to go off, and the lights to go out. As the Undertaker would come. Ask and you shall receive...
CM Punk surprised as such from The Undertaker who was hell bent on attacking him. Picture: WWE.com
Undertaker did in fact interrupt Punk, and attacked CM Punk immediately. Meanwhile Heyman fled the ring with the urn, and CM Punk managed to retreat, but not before he took some hard shots of The Undertaker. It was a great way to kick off the show, as Undertaker stood in the middle of the ring angry, and a smirk emerged from CM Punk's face. Excellent.

Chris Jericho goes straight after Fandango. (WWE.com)
The WWE Universe were expecting the long-awaited debut of Fandango, but as he entered the ring and danced prior to his match. "BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!" out comes Chris Jericho who goes straight after Fandango, seeking retribution after Fandango's attack on SmackDown. As the brawl ensued, Jericho got the upper hand and therefore Fandango retreated. It looks like we will be seeing more of these two feud, into WrestleMania?
Chris Jericho suplexes Dolph Ziggler with tremendous impact. (WWE.com)
Chris Jericho was straight into action with Dolph Ziggler, the match was quite competitive, and Ziggler came close to a victory over Jericho via Big E, but this was not to be the case. As Chris Jericho dealt with the distraction of Big E Langston, he almost got caught by an unexpected Zig-Zag but he managed to regain control and submit Ziggler with the Walls of Jericho. However, Jericho was attacked after the match by Big E Langston, and then Fandango was to further capitalize with an attack to Jericho, finishing with a leg drop from the top rope.

Matt Striker was interviewing The Celtic Warrior Sheamus about the events that unfolded on SmackDown, before he was attacked by The Shield. Randy Orton looked to come to his safety with a steel chair but the numbers game also took him down. That was until The Big Show came and took down The Shield before they retreated.

Mark Henry then sent a bold statement to his WrestleMania opponent, Ryback. The World's Strongest Man took on The Usos in a handicap match. The Usos twin connectivity and chemistry managed to relatively restrict Mark Henry, before he regained control and dominated followed by a prolonged attack.

Cesaro tries to outgrapple Del Rio, the two had very different styles. (WWE.com)
It was Champion vs. Champion next. A great prospect for a match as US Champion Antonio Cesaro squared off with World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio. The match was in full swing when #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship Jack Swagger attacked Ricardo Rodriguez (of who's ankle he broke last week). He dragged him towards the timekeepers area, before Del Rio came to his safety. Del Rio chased him through the crowd, Swagger retreated meanwhile Cesaro won via countout. As Cesaro celebrated, Del Rio looked to teach him a lesson with an attack. Making a big statement to Swagger.

Daniel Bryan runs the ropes. (WWE.com)
WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No showed they are ready for Big E and Ziggler come WrestleMania, with a convincing victory over The Prime Time Players. The long time foes' match spilled out to the ring, as The Prime Time Players did all they could to win, but it was not enough. Team Hell No stood tall at the end and looked on at their upcoming opponents at WrestleMania.

Paying homage to Ric Flair, The Miz makes Barrett tap via the Figure-Four Leg Lock. (WWE.com)
Triple H was LIVE on RAW to address the stipulation that was announced last week, his career is on the line against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. He said that he is not going to wrestle, he is going to fight. He certainly seemed ready, with little time talking. As he made his exit, Wade Barrett entered. Triple H was in no laughing mood and as Barrett and Triple H stared down, Triple H kicked him below the belt. Ouch. That low kick seemed to still be hurting Barrett as he awaited his opponent, The Miz. Barrett was to lose to The Miz via the Figure-Four Leg Lock, which could put The Miz in line for a title shot.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
"I am not coming to WrestleMania to wrestle, I am coming to kick your ass" Triple H to Brock Lesnar

Triple H knows he is ready for WrestleMania. (WWE.com)

Hell broke loose in the locker room, as Team Hell No disputed about AJ. As Kaitlyn got involved and talked about AJ, AJ seemed to overhear, and attacked Kaitlyn. Could this be only the start of a rivalry?

The Shield deliver a massive powerbomb to Khali. (WWE.com)
It was a true rarity up next on RAW, as The Shield were in action. Their opponents were The Great Khali, Zack Ryder and Justin Gabriel. The Shield dominated throughout, there were the flurries from the opposing side, but The Shield's tag team tactics were to always give them the upper hand. They picked up a quick victory with a move from the top rope to Gabriel, but Khali remained untouched and looked to take on The Shield.  Khali was to suffer a triple powerbomb from The Shield, and as they stood tall. Out came Orton and Sheamus. They made their way to the ring to take on The Shield, and Big Show came from the other side too. The Shield were surrounded, and they were attacked, before retreating. Big Show, Orton and Sheamus stood in unity, as they looked on, ready for WrestleMania. It's one big trio. One that could finish The Shield.

Cody Rhodes takes control of Tensai. (WWE.com)
Rhodes Scholars picked up a big win over Sweet T (Tensai and Brodus) on RAW, as chaos unfolded with the Bellas and Funkadactyls, Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes were able to seize the opportunity in order to pick up a win over Sweet T, that could have catapulted them back on to the title picture. However, with tensions still running high between the teams and their accompanied Divas, this could not be the end...

It was made official by Vickie Guerrero and announced by Chris Jericho when he was being interviewed that he will face Fandango at WrestleMania.

Ryback with an extraordinary feat of strength with a double shellshocked to 3MB. (WWE.com)
Ryback looked to do one better than Mark Henry as he was in handicap action vs. the 3MB. This time it was a 3-on-1 tag team match, and Ryback did well to deal with the numbers game. But the three men did restrict Ryback, but not enough to defy him of a feast on the 3MB. He is ready for Mark Henry, it is going to be a collision, and proved it with an emphatic statement. A double-shellshocked move to the 3MB. Extraordinary.

AJ was back in action against long-time former friend, Kaitlyn. It was a personal rivalry that came about from earlier that night when AJ attacked Kaitlyn. AJ Lee won via countout, by dodging a spear from Kaitlyn which resulted in her going head first into the barricade. Could we be seeing more from this rivalry?

It was a ring full of legends to put the questions to The Rock and John Cena, a panel of 5 legends. 3 Hall of Famers, and 2 future Hall of Famers. Dusty Rhodes, Jerry Lawler, Bret Hart, Booker T and Mick Foley, were all lined up to ask Rock and Cena about their WrestleMania showdown.

Ring of Past, Present and Future Legends. 7 historic superstars in the ring, building anticipation towards WrestleMania. (WWE.com)
The stage was set. One star-studded ring, two icons, and questions from Hall of Famers. Things were about to get really serious on RAW. With The Rock entering first with his WWE Championship, he greeted the panel whilst awaiting his opponent, John Cena.
Mick Foley asks John Cena a question. (WWE.com)
Mick Foley was first to ask the question, and he asked Cena why he thinks he can beat The Rock this time round at WrestleMania. John Cena began saying that "April 7 will be a historic day" and "will change the face of the WWE forever". He said that if he wins, he gets much needed redemption, and also went back to last year when he said "losing was not an option" but "damn well know losing is now an option". He even brought up the name Donovan McNabb (which trended Worldwide on Twitter), the Philladelphia Eagles quarterback, who didn't win the "Big One". He said that The Rock does not know anything about failure "well not yet, but he soon will." The Rock knows about failure, when he almost failed in the WWE, but persevered. Then he came back to Philadelphia as WWE Champion, but then he got his ass kicked by Steve Austin. He knows about failure, he made the decision to come back stronger, and become the greatest of all time.

Cena certain he must win. (WWE.com)
Bret Hart was next and asked the questions about what is different from WrestleMania. The Rock said that he beat Cena fair and square, and Cena did not bitch, moan or complain about it. John Cena said that The Rock proved that he loved the WWE, and said he succeeded with becoming WWE Champion. He said he respected The Rock, and in 13 days we are going to see how he handles his (loss?)
The Rock fired up in Philadelphia. (WWE.com)

Booker T, a person who has been in the ring with both Rock and Cena, asked Cena that he "thinks" he can beat The Rock, and wanted to know "Why". Cena replied...
"...because I have to."
Rock replied "because you have to? What kind of weak shallow answer is that? How about you wipe a monkey's ass with 'I have to'?"
Cena replied saying "because you didn't beat me" and he beat himself. Cena talked about how he got carried away with a bad decision when he had The Rock won at WrestleMania 28. The Rock was the only person who ever clouded Cena's decision, he seemed certain that he could handle the best The Rock had.
"Here is your reason, I KNOW I AM BETTER THAN THE ROCK! And more importantly, The Rock knows"
The Rock replied powerfully, "If you had me beat, you would've beaten me."

Dusty Rhodes asks the final question. (WWE.com)
Dusty Rhodes finished the Q&A, saying that WrestleMania is about winning and losing, not redemption. "What do you guys really want on April 7?"
John Cena said he wants to win the "big one" and for The Rock to be looking up at the sky, and The Rock will realise that he 'is better' than The Rock. "Hand him a loss so devastating, it will haunt him for the rest of his life."
The Rock replied saying he is not like that, and after WrestleMania he will still be WWE Champion. The bottom line is if you want to prove the World wrong, do it at WrestleMania."
Then The Rock said to Cena why not prove it now, and the two looked like they were about to do battle.

John Cena got straight up in The Rock's face. The Rock pushed him back, Cena went for the Attitude Adjustment, but Rock countered...
Cena gets Rock'd: Rockbottom delivered to Cena in Philadelphia. (WWE.com)
ROCKBOTTOM! ROCKBOTTOM to John Cena! The Rock makes an emphatic statement in Philadelphia, promptly leaving the ring, as Cena is down in the ring and realizing the events that just ensued. Could this be the fate come WrestleMania?
What an episode of RAW. Absolutely amazing, ready for WrestleMania!

WWE Main Event - 27th March 2013
Daniel Bryan deals with the distraction of AJ, meanwhile Kane finishes of
Cesaro (WWE.com)
This week's Main Event featured match was a Champion vs. Champion match, as US Champion Antonio Cesaro was to do battle in the squared circle with one half of the tag team Champions, Kane. Kane entered accompanied by his tag team partner, Daniel Bryan, who made commentary very interesting during the match. Meanwhile, Antonio Cesaro had a very peculiar entrance, so entered yodeling as he made his way to the ring to put "culture into a culture less society". But that was all to be left behind as the match went underway. Kane managed to outwrestle Kane, but Cesaro took the advantage when he was on the outside of the ring, using the ropes to his advantage. As the action got back into the ring, Kane took some control. Cesaro's yodeling even continued when he had Kane in an arm hold, Daniel Bryan felt slightly offended as he thought they were being targeted at him (which is a possibility, of course). As the match drew to a close, out came AJ. She almost cost Kane the match, but whilst Daniel Bryan dealt with the distraction. Kane was to reverse a neutralizer, and win with a Chokeslam.

Following up that match was Divas tag action. As the newly-named team of Brodus Clay and Tensai, "Tons of Funk", were ringside as they watched the Funkadactyls take on the Bella Twins, who were accompanied by Rhodes Scholars. This match is ahead of what is to come at WrestleMania, where there will be a huge mixed tag team match! The Bellas managed to control it at the beginning but with some great offense from Naomi and Cameron they almost won, until The Bellas stole the victory. And with that then some video packages, Main Event concluded.

TNA IMPACT Wrestling - 28th March 2013
Bully Ray interrupts Hardy (Picture Twitter @IMPACTWRESTLING)
It was Open Fight Night on IMPACT Wrestling this week, the night where superstars on the roster can call out anyone to have a match. The twists and turns on this night always prove entertaining, as Jeff Hardy kicked off the show. As he proceeded to announce who he would call out on Open Fight Night, he was interrupted by The Aces & 8s. They gradually made their way to the ring, insulting Jeff Hardy about his numerous title chances whilst they were at it. Anderson continued to mock Hardy, to the extent of him hitting Anderson off the apron. The Aces & 8s got into the ring and attacked Hardy, they almost put him out with the chain, but Samoa Joe, Magnus, Kurt Angle and Eric Young rushed down to the ring, so the Aces & 8s retreated, before Hardy announced who he will face later on in the night, Mr. Anderson.

Daniels wrestles Chavo (Picture by Twitter @IMPACTWRESTLING)
The first match on Open Fight Night was some tag team action, as Chavo Guerrero and his tag team partner were seeking retribution by calling out the tag team of Bad Influence, who beat them in the previous week. Chavo and Hernandez were able to knock off Bad Influence, and their bad antics did not go unpunished, as the referee was more aware. Chavo and Hernandez picked up a big win after a very entertaining tag match, and now progress towards a title opportunity at the tag team titles vs. Bobby Roode and Austin Aries.

Sting and Hogan argue. (@eddieyourdj)
Things quickly escalated in a heated exchange between Sting and Hulk Hogan. Sting called out Hogan, to finally apologize to Hogan after his other apologies were rejected. Things got intense with the blaming and frustration of both Sting and Hogan, and they were about to fight before security split it up. Sting was then escorted from the building by security, but we now await, what will be next in the events between Hogan and Sting?

James Storm wanted answers last week from AJ Styles. He didn't get any. This week, he used his Open Fight Night chance to call out AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One looked on and Storm from the crowd, Storm tried to get to him, and gave him an ultimatum. To either fight, or to talk it out. As it looked like the two were going to collide, three members of the Aces & 8s attacked James Storm. Out came Kurt Angle and Eric Young to even the odds, before a six-man tag match was underway. The Aces & 8s were able to steal the victory, when Kurt Angle had momentum on his side, but then the other Aces & 8s proved a distraction. Bischoff almost hit him with the chain, but as the Angle Lock was locked in Wes Brisco rolled up Angle to steal the win, leaving Kurt Angle very frustrated.

It was time for the main event. #1 contender for the World Heavyweight title, Jeff Hardy, squared off with Aces & 8s member Mr. Anderson. The match was well-contested, a definite PPV caliber match, but with an unexpected ending. As Jeff Hardy begun to close in on a victory, he was interrupted by another Aces & 8s member, who passed a weapon to Anderson to use on Hardy, but Hardy ducked and reversed with a Twist of Fate. Hardy went on to unleash his rage by getting disqualified, using the weapon then going into a zone with intent to destroy Anderson. He set up a chair and beat Anderson with it, then a table, then a ladder. As Jeff Hardy prepared to jump off the ladder on to Anderson who was on the table, Bully Ray quickly got involved to pull Anderson out to safety. Then Jeff Hardy laid down the law, in two weeks, when he challenges Bully Ray for the title, it will be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. That is a big stipulation, and a great way to end yet another great Open Fight Night on IMPACT.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! - 29th March 2013
It was a jam-packed edition of Friday Night SmackDown! with The Rock returning to the blue brand, a weightlifting challenge between Mark Henry and Ryback, along with much more. Hershey, the host of SmackDown was electrified from the beginning, as WWE Champion The Rock kicked off the show. It was another Storytime with The Rock session, where he talked about his past experiences in Hershey, when he was a teenager.  The renowned Hershey Milk Chocolate Candy was a hot topic during The Rock's promo, as he revealed that his saying "I will kick your candy ass" originated from Hershey, when he said that to someone who took the final Hershey Candy Bar at the store. Then the Rock moved on to a more serious topic, his WrestleMania opponent, John Cena. The Rock said he will kick Cena's ass in front of the millions, until the surprise appearance of a former WWE RAW General Manager...

Laurinaitis gives The Rock an offer... which was rejected.
John Laurinaitis, the former WWE RAW General Manager, who spearheaded a revolution, People Power. But what on earth was he doing interrupting The Rock? Laurinaitis had an offer for The Rock, the People's Champion with People Power in his corner at WrestleMania. The Rock offered John Laurinaitis an offer, that they both send John Cena a message. The Rock offered a handshake to Laurinaitis, but held on, before a spinebuster and an emphatic People's Elbow. The Rock finished off by saying to John Cena "...at WrestleMania, you are getting your ass kicked... again." The Rock is ready for WrestleMania, but it looks like Big Johnny won't be there.

The Miz observes the match on commentary.
Chris Jericho was in action next. The bruises were clear from Fandango's attack, as Chris Jericho had a black eye, but that did not affect his in-ring competition on SmackDown, as he faced Wade Barrett, a man who Jericho mentored in the inaugural season of WWE NXT, and ultimately helped him get into the WWE. The Miz was on commentary ringside, as he observed his upcoming WrestleMania opponent. Chris Jericho wrestled with more athleticism, meanwhile Barrett used his brutality to ground Jericho. Barrett's lack of focus was to cost him the match, as he got into a verbal confrontation with The Miz by ringside, and got back into the ring greeted with a Codebreaker. Jericho picked up the win, as The Miz walked off with a smirk on his face.  Jericho took to the microphone and insulted Fandango, before Fandango entered but there was no physical confrontation.

Henry pushes the Barbell down on Ryback.
It was now time for the long anticipated benchpress challenge between Ryback and Mark Henry. Who would prove strongest, before their clash at WrestleMania? On the stage there was a benchpress with a barbell of 225 lbs. The winner would be the superstar that would do the most reps. Mark Henry was up first, smashing the previous record of 51 reps, with 53 reps. Ryback got the same amount of reps as Mark Henry, and as he looked to exceed Henry's record, Mark Henry came and pushed the barbell down on Ryback's neck. Ryback was left struggling to breathe, as Henry walked away. Ryback could have broken Henry's record, but we might not know now.

Kaitlyn and Bryan triumphant in victory.
Daniel Bryan teamed up with Kaitlyn to take on Dolph Ziggler and AJ in mixed tag team action. Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler kicked things off, before there was some brawling between Kaitlyn and AJ. As Bryan and Ziggler were back in the ring, the referee was distracted, and Big E Langston tried to pull Bryan as he ran the ropes. As Bryan stopped, he turned around into a Ziggler dropkick. But Big E Langston was to pay for his actions as he was on the receiving end of a big boot from Kane. Ziggler tagged AJ back in, and Bryan and Ziggler continued to go at it, Ziggler went flying into the timekeepers area, AJ almost took advantage of Kaitlyn, but ran straight into a spear, which made Bryan and Kaitlyn victorious. Chaotic.

Swagger and Khali square off.
'The Punjabi Giant' The Great Khali had a one-on-one match with Jack Swagger. Khali started off strong, managing to hinder any offense from Swagger. As Khali gained momentum, he teed up Swagger for the big chop, but Swagger escaped the ring. As Khali went outside the ring, Swagger attacked his leg, giving him ground to work on for the rest of the match. Khali rolled outside the ring, and Swagger managed to lock in the Patriot Act, putting Khali in excruciating pain, and getting both men counted out. Swagger was relentless during the submission, but Hornswoggle attempted to come to the aid of Khali, but to no avail. Swagger threw Hornsowoggle into the barricade, and as he attempted to continue the attack. Out came Ricardo Rodriguez, a man who was victim of two previous attacks. He slowly made his way down to the ring in a set up that Del Rio came in and ambushed Swagger. As he locked in the Cross-Arm Breaker, Zeb Colter managed to pull the face of Del Rio, but Rodriguez hit him with the crutches he used to walk down to the ring. Del Rio almost hit Swagger with them, but Swagger managed to escape.

Sheamus, Show and Orton make their way to the ring.
The main event featured Sheamus, Big Show and Randy Orton teaming up to face the team of Rhodes Scholars and Antonio Cesaro. It would be a good tester to see if Show, Sheamus and Orton could coexist ahead of their WrestleMania match against The Shield. The team looked united as they made their way down to the ring. Meanwhile Rhodes Scholars entered with insults to their opponents, before Antonio Cesaro did a bit of yodeling. Peculiar to say the least, but it was time for the match to get underway. Sheamus, Randy Orton and The Big Show worked very well as a cohesive unit, managing to restrict anything from Cesaro, Rhodes and Sandow. Sheamus picked up the victory for his team when a Brogue Kick attempt was seized by Cesaro and Rhodes, who attacked Sheamus. Big Show came in and rattled Cesaro's jaw with a knockout punch, followed by throwing Sandow into a lethal RKO. The scene was set for Sheamus to Brogue Kick Rhodes, and pick up the win, as they stood tall ready for The Shield come WrestleMania. However, the night was not over. The Shield made their way to the ring through the crowd, but Sheamus, Orton and Big Show went straight at them, chasing them up through the arena, before brawling at the top tier. Eventually The Shield were able to escape, but Sheamus, Orton and Big Show triumphed.

Opinion
This week's RAW was an excellent show. Really good stuff, but some poor bookings in a few matches but nothing too catastrophic. I enjoyed the final parts of the Rock and Cena promo, Triple H's short promo was effective and the start with The Undertaker and CM Punk was a great way to kick off the show. Meanwhile on Main Event, it was interesting to see the Bella Twins and Funkadactyls in action, the Kane and Cesaro match was a great feature match in comparison to the previous ones. TNA Impact Wrestling was not as good as last week's edition but still enjoyable to watch, I am intrigued on where the Hogan and Sting angle will go, and the TLC match in two weeks. SmackDown was another good show, The Rock's promo was good but Laurinaitis was slightly boring. I was hoping for a better finish in the Benchpress Challenge, but the overall ending was great.

With just over one week to go until WrestleMania. Things in the WWE have picked up immensely, and with a few matches added this week, it is shaping up to be a great night. The Road to WrestleMania reaches its climax next week, in the final shows before WrestleMania. Meanwhile, Jeff Hardy and co. look to combat the Aces & 8s and regain the World title for TNA. There is a lot to look forward to next week, with go-home shows before WrestleMania, TNA Gut Check and WrestleMania itself! Going to be a hell of a week next time, and that is your weekly COMPLETE COVERAGE for this week. WrestleWeek edition 6!

WWE WrestleMania 29: Worth The Buy? Cool (or maybe not) items from WrestleMania 29!

WrestleMania 29 is just over one week away. There is still plenty of time to stock up on some cool merchandise. Get in on the festivities of WrestleMania, for a party, gear for attending events, or just feeling the mood at home. This year, the WWE have seemingly went "all-out" with their WrestleMania merchandise. Besides t-shirts and clothing, what could they really sell? You would be surprised...

 WrestleMania 29 Mohawk Hat - $19.99 (£13.17)
http://gyazo.com/0086a49ea08d22b1e4919445e6b35903.png?1364491518
Pretty cool, you think? Keeps you warm, and (possibly) makes you look cool. The material is black fur, with light blue Mohawk and fur balls. It is quite a vibrant piece of apparel, but is it more goof than cool? The colors are quite reminiscent of WrestleMania 29. The price is not TOO MUCH, but it depends. Would you want to rock this Mohawk at WrestleMania 29? You will certainly be the center of attention (or laughing stock).

WrestleMania 29 Beanie Bear - $9.99 (£6.59)

Beanie bears... Great souvenir, great memories, but not a hell lot you can do with it, really. This WrestleMania 29 bear made from polyester is being branded as the 'Official WrestleMania 29 bear' with the logo of WrestleMania and blue and yellow colors. I would probably consider buying it, as it is not overpriced, but it lacks a purpose. Good for themes, but would this prove a good souvenir, or would you want something more, memorable?

WrestleMania 29 Football Jersey - $69.99 (£46.10)

Quite a cool idea. A football jersey with the WrestleMania logo, and the colours of WrestleMania 29. This is some nice gear, it fits in with the MetLife Stadium arena, and looks pretty awesome. If I was to choose a piece of WrestleMania 29 gear, I would probably wear this one. Great memoir and memory of WrestleMania 29. If you are attending, this would be great to wear. Except for the fact of the price, being the highest priced WrestleMania item on WWEShop, it seems like you good buy much better stuff with that money. It depends on the quality, but it really is a good piece of merchandise.

WrestleMania 29 Piggy Bank  - $19.99 (£13.17)

Store your money in this cool piggy bank, surrounded by a ring. This souvenir is great to stand the test of time, and keep your money safe. I think it is awesome how it seems to expand out of the ring. This is great to keep somewhere on the side. Priced at $20, it is quite a good custom, if you are retro and still keep your money in a piggy bank. I probably would not buy it, but it is still some cool stuff. Would you want a piggy bank that remembers you of WrestleMania 29, and keeps your money safe?

WrestleMania 29 Cake (NOT ON SALE, unfortunately)
Embedded image permalink
Admit it. This is some cool stuff. Wouldn't you just love to devour this cake during a WrestleMania party? With an intricate design of the MetLife Stadium, and a 3D WrestleMania logo in the centre, this bakery masterpiece is extraordinary. It indeed would fit well into a huge WrestleMania party, but unfortunately, it is not on sale. This masterpiece was exclusive to WWE Headquarters, so many of the WWE Universe members are evidently jealous.  What a masterpiece.

So there you have it. A few cool or unique WrestleMania 29 items. Would you want to buy any of them? WrestleMania is about festivities, so why not splash out and get in the WrestleMania mood! With less than a week till WrestleMania, time is running out, so get buying, WWE Universe!

NBA: Miami HEAT 101 - 97 Chicago Bulls: The Second Longest NBA Winning Streak Comes To An End

27 games. 27 consecutive wins. But, the second longest NBA winning streak in history came to an end at the United Center in Chicago, at the expense of the Chicago Bulls, without Joakim Noah, and Derrick Rose.

It was a triumphant victory for the Chicago Bulls, who led the game throughout until Miami took the lead in the third quarter. However, as the game neared a conclusion, Chicago Bulls gained another lead with three pointers from Deng and Butler, a long with great play by the other team members.

Bulled Over: LeBron's efforts were not enough to keep the streak alive. PICTURE: ESPN.com
It all came to an end, HEAT tried to come back in the final moments, but it was not enough. And as the final buzzer beater finished the game, Chicago were triumphant, and the Lakers' streak of 33 games was safe.

Miami went straight to the locker room, they were not happy with their loss, but this could prove motivation for the remainder of the season.

The advantages, are the fact that the HEAT do not have to go out every night and defend the streak whilst their players tire. The disadvantages, they were six games short of making history.

Now, as HEAT focus on the play-offs, the streak is over.

It was not to be.

WWE Monday Night RAW - 18th March 2013
John Cena with a shoulder tackle to Darren Young, says he is ready for WrestleMania.
Kicking off the show in Pittsburgh was #1 Contender for WWE Championship, John Cena. The leader of the CeNation stated his intent for WrestleMania, along with telling the WWE Universe to choose a side, Cena or Rock before WrestleMania 29. He had a message for all The Rock fans in attendance, "Our time is now." As Cena stood in the ring and anticipated the events to happen, he was interrupted by The Prime Time Players. They got straight to the point in addressing the fact that no-one wants to see him at WrestleMania, before getting Cena angry, by reminding him of his loss to The Rock at WrestleMania last year. John Cena issued a straight-up challenge to Darren Young offering a match. John Cena made quick work of Darren Young, putting him away with an Attitude Adjustment.

Ryback looks on at Mark Henry, ready to do battle at WrestleMania.
David Otunga returned to WWE competition this week, but he was unfortunate to be standing across the ring from a Leviathan of Power, Ryback. Otunga was obliterated in that match, and also fell victim to the Shellshock move by Ryback. However, as Ryback proceeded with his "FEED ME MORE!" chant, out came Mark Henry. It looked as if they were about to brawl until managerial staff Vickie Guerrero and Theodore Long laid down the law. They pulled Ryback out of his WrestleMania match against The Shield, to face Mark Henry at WrestleMania. That will truly be one huge battle of power come WrestleMania.

Khali proceeds to attack Fandango, but he retreats and lives to fight another day.
For weeks, the WWE Universe have grown in frustration towards Fandango's debut. It seemed like it would actually happen this time, as Fandango made his way to the ring, in action with The Punjabi Giant, The Great Khali. Before they were to compete, Fandango asked Natalya - who accompanied Khali by ringside - to pronounce Fandango's name. As she proceeded to finish the name, when she said "...GO!..." she continued with "...Get him Khali!" but Fandango immediately retreated, and made his way out of the arena. More waiting to follow, for Fandango's debut.

R-Truth lands a high kick on Sandow
R-Truth prevailed on top, after his Countout defeat over The Intellectual Savior of the Masses. The Truth came out to fast paced start, and despite a few setbacks caused by Sandow, R-Truth was to build up the momentum towards winning, until Damien Sandow fled the ring. Despite his victory, it does not look like the end between Sandow and Truth.

Irate: Undertaker looks on in anger as CM Punk disrespects the urn. He looks ready for WrestleMania.
After the events that ensued the week prior on RAW (RAW Coverage from last week), Undertaker was LIVE on RAW, and he addressed his WrestleMania opponent CM Punk. Undertaker told CM Punk that he is going to be badly hurt at WrestleMania, but had one chance to revoke the events that would happen at WrestleMania. The Undertaker demanded CM Punk to return the sacred urn, important to the memory of Paul Bearer. CM Punk appeared on the titantron and proceeded to mock Paul Bearer, carelessly throwing around the urn, and making Undertaker all the more angrier. CM Punk has enlightened a dangerous and ferocious spark in The Undertaker. And with around two weeks until WrestleMania, a personal rivalry is set to hit a climax.

Jack Swagger pumped up as he looks on at the carnage caused to Rodriguez following the Patriot Act.
World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio prevailed in a compelling contest between Cody Rhodes. The well-contested match really showed great competitors of both Rhodes and Del Rio. But Del Rio's celebration in victory did not last long, as he was interrupted by Jack Swagger. Swagger went straight to the attack on Del Rio, before Ricardo Rodriguez tried to step in and deal with Swagger but to no avail. Swagger continued to savagely attack Del Rio, before proceeding to leave the arena... That's until he turned his sights to Ricardo Rodriguez, locking in the malicious Patriot Act submission, resulting in a serious injury for Ricardo, and which left Del Rio ready to avenge.

Big Show wants in on The Shield. Will he get to at WrestleMania?
Sheamus and Randy Orton - also known as the Celtic Vipers - put on a dominating performance over 3MB's Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. The two delivered a big beatdown to the 3MB, finishing emphatically with more Brogues and RKOs. Their celebration was, yet again, to be disrupted by The Shield, who were moments away from attacking the pair, until an unlikely arrival of The Big Show forced them to retreat. As Big Show, Sheamus and Orton stood in the ring looking on at The Shield, specualtion was abuzz. Could Randy Orton and Sheamus' partner at WrestleMania be The Big Show?

BOOM: Kofi Kingston lands a dropkick sending Ziggler crashing to the canvas.
Dolph Ziggler picked up another victory by defeating Kofi Kingston. There was some decent action in the match, but Kingston's high flying ability was not enough to defy Ziggler (and his associates at ringside, of course). Ziggler continues to build up steam as he heads towards the grand WrestleMania event. Team Hell No were to interrupt the celebrations however, as they have had enough of Big E and Ziggler's acts. They challenged them to a tag-team match, but the situation was further elevated when AJ upped the stakes, challenging Team Hell No to a match for the tag team titles... at WrestleMania.

Wade Barrett steals a victory with the roll-up pin, as the Barrett Barrage continues to gain momentum.
|The Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett kept his Intercontinental Championship safe in his possession, despite the odds being stacked against him in a Triple Threat against The Miz and Chris Jericho. With competition high, and the will to succeed, Jericho and Miz really went at it, along with some good work by Barrett. But in the conclusion, Barrett did not even require his lethal Bullhammer Elbow this time round, as he managed to shock The Miz with a roll-up pin, leaving The Miz irate as he was just fingertips short of a title reign.

"Now go get your monster" Triple H signs the contract and throws Heyman of the table.
Triple H will fight Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. The King of Kings signed the contract unaware of the stipulations, but it could result in that match being his last. Paul Heyman angered Triple H with disrespectful remarks to his wife, and as Triple H's anger increased, he went on to attack Paul Heyman, pulling his hair and then signing the contract upon the back of Paul Heyman. The attack provoked an entrance of Brock Lesnar, who came out with fury, smashing the chair on the stage. As he got ready to brawl with Triple H, the familiar Sledgehammer of Triple H happened to appear, which made Brock Lesnar retreat. But it was all smiles for Heyman and Lesnar as they looked on, announcing the stipulation. At WrestleMania 29, Brock Lesnar will face Triple H in a No Holds Barred match, and if Triple H loses, his career is over.
Now THAT's a stipulation. Pivotal.

INSULT OF THE WEEK
"Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H, and the winner gets Stephanie! But since we are talking personal, shouldn't it be that the LOSER gets Stephanie?" - Paul Heyman to Triple H
WWE Main Event - 20th March 2013
Barrett winds up the Bullhammer Elbow before unleashing it on it's next victim, R-Truth.
R-Truth made his debut on Main Event, but it was not to be a good night for the Truth, as he was at the receiving end of a lethal Bullhammer Elbow by Wade Barrett. R-Truth used his pace to his advantage in the beginning, but in the latter part of the match, Barrett was able to dominate. R-Truth had a flurry of offense that almost got him going, but Barrett was to prevail with the Bullhammer Elbow. Barrett then went on to address his Barrett Barrage, and he talked about his triumph in the Triple Threat match on Monday Night RAW, before confronting The Miz (on commentary) and this provoked The Miz who attacked Barrett. Barrett fled and looked on at The Miz. It is only a matter of time before these two collide once again.

Samoan Splash: The Usos finish off the Prime Time Players to pick up the win.
There were also two great tag-team matches. Divas Natalya and Layla defeated Alicia Fox and Aksana, meanwhile young tag team prospects squared off, as The Prime Time Players faced The Usos. They both showed their great in-ring skill and execution, as The Usos exerted their Samoan Heritage, meanwhile the swagger and cocky style wrestling from The Prime Time Players. Both teams showed great chemistry, as they looked to get near the title hunt. The Usos were able to pick up a big victory this time, some great action concluding, but ending with a Frogsplash by The Usos. Great tag team work there, great tag teams.

TNA Impact Wrestling - 21st March 2013
Hulk Hogan announces the IMPACT main event for the night.
Following a chaotic ending to IMPACT last week, Hulk Hogan kicked off the proceedings from Chicago.  The Hulkster gingerly made his way to the ring with the aid of crutches, and addressed the situation with The Aces & 8s, "This is a monster" and "This is not just a battle, this is a war survival." Hogan then went on to bring out the four men who lead the resistance against The Aces & 8s last week, Samoa Joe, Magnus, Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan stated his respect for them. He rewarded them by announcing a BLOCKBUSTER main event. A No.1 contenders four-way match, and the best man will go on to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Hernandez and Guerrero set up for a big tag team move.
The night continued with the Tag Team Championships on the line. Bobby Roode and Austin Aries defended against Guerrero and Hernandez. The challengers started off the match with great teamwork, managing to break down Roode and Aries. But eventually control swung back into neutral, and the match was fairly even. Aries and Roode were at their usual standards, cheating and not going by the rulebook, managing to isolate their opponents. Aries and Roode were to retain when Aries countered a powerbomb by Hernandez, and then Kazarian and Daniels attacked behind the referee's back and Aries got the win. Bad Influence went to attack the team, before leaving the ring.

Sanjay Dutt takes out both Xema Ion and Kenny King, but was not able to win the match.
The X Division Evolution began this week on IMPACT Wrestling. And the contest that began the new format to the X-Division was a Triple Threat for the X-Division Championship. It was an absolutely great match, plenty of high risk and high flying moves, action spilling everywhere. Sanjay Dutt and Xema Ion were not enough to put an end to Kenny King's title reign, as he retained. A great inaugural match to the X-Divison Evolution.

Joseph Park stepped in the ring with the DNA of TNA, Matt Morgan. Morgan dominated Park for the vast majority of the match, despite a bit of offense from Park, it was all Morgan in the match, and he earned another victory. The Blueprint, Matt Morgan is a force to be reckoned with in IMPACT Wrestling.

No Words: Mike Tenay interviews AJ Styles to get some answers, but to no avail.
Up next was an interesting interview with the 'Phenomenal' AJ Styles. The question was to get behind this 'New' AJ Styles, who turned on his friend James Storm the previous week. As speculation continued, it was time to get to the bottom of this. Taz intervened during the interview and laid out an offer to AJ Styles to join the Aces & 8s, however James Storm entered the arena. He got straight down to business, asking questions to AJ Styles, who seemed emotionless. But the crowd at the IMPACT Zone did not get any answers, as AJ Styles did not say a thing, and left the ring. Hence, the mystery continues.

Beginning of the End: Samoa Joe in the Ankle Lock, but was to break out then fall victim to a Swanton Bomb/
 MATCH OF THE WEEK
The show concluded with an excellent main event. Magnus, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy battled in a Fatal-Four Way match to become No #1 Contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. It was a hard-fought battle, all competitors held nothing back, for a big shot and revenge against Bully Ray. This was the best match of the week, a great contest, that came to a conclusion when Samoa Joe broke out the Ankle Lock sending Angle colliding into Magnus. Meanwhile, Jeff Hardy seized the opportunity and delivered a thunderous Swanton Bomb to Samoa Joe, securing a No.1 Contender status for the World Heavyweight Championship, and he will have a chance to recapture the World title he lost to Bully Ray at LockDown.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! - 22nd March 2013
Big Show arrives in the ring during Miz TV, and addresses Sheamus, Randy Orton and The Miz
Miz TV began SmackDown, from Cincinnati. Diving head first into the subject about the WrestleMania match that will feature Randy Orton, Sheamus and a partner of their choice vs. The Shield. They were speculating whether or not to have The Big Show as their tag team partner for WrestleMania. Things quickly however got heated between Big Show and Sheamus, considering their history late 2012, and then Randy Orton - surprisingly - was playing the peacemaker this time round. Arguments drew to a halt with the arrival of Booker T. He said he wanted to know "If you three (to Orton, Big Show and Sheamus) can coexist" and put them in a six-man tag team main event match for later that night!

Battle of the Behemoths: Mark Henry and Ryback look more than ready to do battle at WrestleMania.
Mark Henry was in action next, but it was to be more of a squashing than a contest, as he dominated his opponent, Zack Ryder. Henry showed that he is more than ready for Ryback, and further exemplified this with a prolonged attack on Long Island Iced Z, Zack Ryder. Mark Henry looked angry, but Ryback was even angrier as he made his way to the ring. The two stared off, before Mark Henry charged at Ryback. He walked straight into a huge clothesline, incredible!

Dolph Ziggler triumphant in victory, meanwhile Kofi is down on the canvas.
Dolph Ziggler was in action against Kofi Kingston next. Yet another good match between the two, but came to an end once again with the aid or distraction of Big E. The match was even throughout, but reached a turning point, when Kofi Kingston flew to the outside and took out Big E, but his distractions were of Big E, and he forgot about the presence of Ziggler who capitalized on the opportunity for the win. However, it was not all over, as Big E wanted to inflict more damage to Kofi.

Swagger comes out swinging, but so does Jericho.
In a return match from the previous week on SmackDown, Jack Swagger was in action against Chris Jericho. Prior to the match, Swagger had some words for Jericho, and the people of America. Jericho's approach to the match really made Swagger work hard, he continued the pace and put on a great match. As Jericho gained momentum with a dropkick off the ropes. Fandango interrupted amidst the action. Fandango had Jericho distracted, and he walked into a slam by Swagger, but was not put away. Meanwhile, Fandango lurked around ringside. When Zeb Coulter stood on the apron, the referee was distracted. And as Jericho jumped off the ropes, Fandango took advantage to land a kick to Jericho which ultimately cost him the match. Fandango was to continue with a post-match attack on Jericho, sending a bold statement.

A match between the teams of Brodus & Tensai vs. Rhodes Scholars was cut short when a brawl broke out between the Funkadactyls and the Bella Twins, maybe just a start to this rivalry.

Miz and Cesaro circle the ring before they lock up.
Antonio Cesaro and The Miz squared off in the next match. The two have had a lot of history, with numerous battles over the United States Championship, and many other matches such as No Disqualification and 2 Out of Three Falls. Meanwhile, Wade Barrett was on commentary ringside. The match ran a quicker course than expected, as The Miz was to lock in the Figure-Four Leg Lock, which Cesaro tapped out to. He continued to apply the Figure-Four and stared straight at Barrett, possibly in an attempt to provoke him. Barrett however refused to engage in any conflict, just lifted up his title and walked away.

Show of Solidarity: Sheamus, Orton and Big Show prepare for their match against the 3MB
Combustible elements in one ring, Sheamus, The Big Show and Randy Orton teaming up in a six-man tag team match to take on the 3MB. The 3MB were dominated from the beginning, with Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show all working well as one cohesive unit. Sheamus at one time even imitated The Big Show using his hand slaps to the chest before tagging him in. Big Show got one back when he used Sheamus' trademark move, the chest punches over the ropes. This was some good action. The trio of the 3MB managed to turn it around for the time being, when they managed to isolate Randy Orton. Then the significant part in the match, Orton lands a mid-air drop kick, then he tagged in The Big Show who went on a rage. It was a successful outing for Orton, Sheamus and Show, as Big Show was kicked by McIntyre, Sheamus tagged himself in but Big Show knocked out McIntyre, then Mahal received a Brogue Kick. They had won, but did not have any time to dispute, as The Shield made their way to the ring. It seemed to collapse however, as Big Show pushed Sheamus, Sheamus pushed him back then they had a scrap. Orton was also pushed by The Big Show, and their group was almost damaged until they realized The Shield were mere moments from attack. The Shield were once again to think twice, and retreat, as Sheamus, Big Show and Orton stood tall, despite their differences.

Opinion
Very good week again in wrestling. IMPACT Wrestling was a very clean show on Thursday night, very consistent show with great matches. Match of the week was definitely the fatal-four-way main event. Meanwhile on RAW, it was a great ending segment with Triple H and Lesnar, and they have managed to build WrestleMania excitement very well. Main Event this week was lacklustre, and the quality of the show is quickly declining. Meanwhile an average show on SmackDown, but quite entertaining. Show of the week was IMPACT, and it is hard to differentiate who is superstar of the week.

The Aces & 8s power increases in TNA, but with more bonds forming between the IMPACT roster, a resistance could be forming. Jeff Hardy is the No #1 contender in TNA now, so what will he have for Bully Ray next Thursday? Meanwhile in the WWE, with around two weeks till WrestleMania, more matches are on the card. Excitment is on the rise, and things can only increase, when RAW is LIVE from Philadelphia featuring The Rock and more! And that's a wrap, thanks for reading WrestleWeek.
